The postseason is just a few weeks away, and this week features several big games.
Field hockey
Monday
St. Elizabeth (2-7) at Delcastle (3-9), 4 p.m. The Vikings aim to spoil Delcastle’s last home game of the year.
Tuesday
Archmere (7-2-1) at Wilmington Christian (7-1), 3:45 p.m. The Auks’ tough stretch continues on the road.
Padua (8-0) at Sanford (8-2), 4 p.m. Padua will face a tough Warriors squad that would enjoy nothing more than ending the Pandas’ unbeaten season.
St. Thomas More (3-8) at St. Andrews (1-7), 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday
Caravel (7-3) at Ursuline (7-2-1), 3:45 p.m. This game looms large for two teams aiming for the playoffs.
St. Elizabeth at Hodgson (4-5-1), 4 p.m.
Thursday
Padua at St. Mark’s (1-7), 3:45 p.m. The Spartans played Padua tough in a 2-0 loss a few weeks ago.
Friday
St. Elizabeth at Ursuline, 3:45 p.m.
Padua at Concord (5-4-1), 3:45 p.m.
Saturday
Caravel at Archmere, noon. This is homecoming for the Auks.
Volleyball
Monday
St. Elizabeth (4-7) at Conrad (6-5), 5 p.m. This is the start of a busy week for the Vikings.
St. Thomas More (8-3) at Padua (8-2), 5:30 p.m. The Ravens travel to New Castle County to meet perennial contender Padua.
Tuesday
St. Mark’s (6-5) at Red Lion (4-6), 5 p.m. The Spartans are coming off a five-set win against Charter and cannot afford a slip as the postseason nears.
Wilmington Friends (9-1) at Archmere (10-1), 6:15 p.m. One of the premier matchups of the season features the fourth-ranked Quakers and the No. 2 Auks.
Wednesday
Dover (3-7) at St. Thomas More, 5 p.m.
Padua at St. Elizabeth, 7:15 p.m.
Delaware Military Academy (10-0) at Ursuline (7-3), 7:15 p.m. The gym should be packed for this battle. No. 1 DMA’s powerful offense will be tested by the trusty defense of the fifth-ranked Raiders.
Thursday
Wilmington Christian (1-9) at St. Elizabeth, 5:45 p.m.
Friday
St. Thomas More at Sussex Tech (5-4), 5 p.m.
Padua at Archmere, 6:15 p.m. Homecoming weekend for the Auks kicks off with a bang as second-ranked Archmere hosts the third-ranked Pandas. Padua took this match last year in five sets.
Ursuline at Charter (8-3), 6:30 p.m.
