(The Dialog/Jason Winchell)

The Auks used strong serving and threw an early block party to jump out to a 9-4 lead. Senior Nicki Kelly, who had five acres, scored a few service winners in that early run. Quakers hitter Dani Nathan had a few kills, but the Auks’ service game was too much as they took a 16-10 lead. The Auks ended the first set on a 9-1 run thanks to the strong play of Jade Bryant and Julia Kochie.
The Auks jumped out to a huge  lead to start the second set, going on a 19-4 run. Kelly had two aces as she served eight times to open the set. Livi Guido and Theresa Chua also served up aces in that early run. The set ended on a service error. The third set was more of the same as Kochie, Guido and Kelly had aces, and the Auks cruised to the win.
