Marriage preparation classes available in the Diocese of Wilmington through the Office for Family Life include Pre-Cana, Engaged Encounter and Remarriage programs.
Classes scheduled in the coming months include:
Pre-Cana at Fourth Street and Greenhill Avenue in Wilmington: Sunday afternoons from 1 to 5 on Oct. 2 and 30, Nov. 6 and 13; Jan. 8 and 29, Feb. 5 and 26, March 4 and 25 and April 1 and 29. Wednesday classes from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. are scheduled for Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26 and Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 30. Wednesday classes from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. are set for Jan. 4, 11 and 18, Feb. 1, 8 and 15, March 7, 14 and 21 and April 4, 11 and 18.
Pre-Cana programs at other locations include: St. Ann’s in Bethany Beach, on Mondays, Oct. 17 and 24 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and May 7 and 21; Our Mother of Sorrows in Centreville, Md., Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 11, 18 and 25, and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 26; Holy Cross Early Learning Center in Dover Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 16, 23 and 30; and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 1 and 29; Sts. Peter and Paul Elementary School in Easton on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 6 and 13 and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 4 and 25.
Engaged Encounter Weekends will be held at Jesus House in Wilmington on Fridays at 7 p.m. until Sundays at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11-13 and April 13-15.
Remarriage: Programs held at Fourth Street and Greenhill Avenue, Wilmington, on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 on Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26 and on Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25.
