Obituary: Sister Stephanie Wilson, OSU, worked at Ursuline, Ministry of Caring

Sister Stephanie Wilson, an Ursuline sister for 60 years who served for many years in the Diocese of Wilmington, died March 29 at Andrus on Hudson in Hastings on Hudson, N.Y.
WilsonStephanieSister Stephanie was a teacher, including in Wilmington, and she also served her religious order as provincial treasurer. She also spent time in Wilmington as the business manager for Sacred Heart Village, and in various other positions with the Ministry of Caring, which runs Sacred Heart.
She also worked as the director of deferred giving for Catholic Relief Services, financial vice president and payroll accountant at Bethlehem University, and in Rome and California. She was a member of several boards, including Ursuline Academy.
Services were April 2 and 3 at the Ursuline Province Center in New Rochelle, N.Y. Father Ronald Giannone, the Capuchin Franciscan who is the executive director of the Ministry of Caring, celebrated her Mass of Christian Burial. The community requests donations in Sister Stephanie’s name be made to the Ursuline Sisters Retirement Fund, 1338 North Ave., New Rochelle, NY 10804.
