WILMINGTON – The St. Patrick’s Day Society will hold its 19th annual breakfast on March 16 from 7-10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 15th and King streets, and at the Double Tree Hotel, 700 King St., both in Wilmington.
The event begins with fellowship and Irish songs beginning at 7 a.m. at St. Patrick’s, followed by Mass with Bishop Malooly. A parade will take place immediately after Mass, beginning at the church and ending at the Double Tree, where a Communion breakfast will be served from 8:45-10.
Tickets to the breakfast are $50. All proceeds benefit the St. Patrick’s Center, which provides food, shelter and services to Wilmington’s East Side. Contributions also may be made directly at www.stpatrickscenter.org.
