St. Paul’s Church in Wilmington will host runners Dec. 4 who are carrying a torch honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe in a 60-day relay from the Guadalupe shrine in Mexico City to New York City.
The torch-pilgrims are due to be welcomed at St. Paul’s at 5 p.m. and there will be a rosary at the church at 6:30 and Mass, 7 p.m.
After an overnight stay at parishioners’ homes, the runners will carry the torch on Dec. 5 from St. Paul’s at 11 a.m. to arriving at Holy Rosary Church in Claymont about noon.
All are welcome to participate in the welcomes at St. Paul’s and Holy Rosary.
