Playoffs begin Saturday in two of the girls’ sports, meaning there are some important lacrosse and soccer games this week. There is still a week and a half left in the softball regular season. In a change of format, this preview is separated by sport.

Lacrosse

Monday

Archmere at Concord, 3:30 p.m. The second-ranked Auks should be in the eight-team field that starts on Saturday but a win over 8-5 Concord wouldn’t hurt.

St. Andrews at St. Mark’s, 3:45 p.m. The Spartans are 6-7 and probably won’t be in the playoffs, but they could finish the season strong.

St. Thomas More at Glasgow, 6 p.m. The Ravens are 3-9 heading into this one.

Tuesday

Ursuline at Charter, 3:30 p.m. The Raiders are 9-3 but have lost three of their last four. It does not get easier with 12-1 Charter.

St. Thomas More at West Nottingham Academy (Md.), 4 p.m.

Wednesday

Cape Henlopen at Ursuline, 3:45 p.m. Cape’s Vikings are the state’s best team.

St. Mark’s at Concord, 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday is the final day of the regular season. The eight-team tournament begins Saturday. Pairings will be available toward the end of this week.

Soccer

Monday

Charter vs. Padua, at Wilmington University, 3:30 p.m. The top two teams in the state will face off in what could be a championship preview. The Pandas are 11-0-1, while Charter is 12-0.

Archmere at A.I. DuPont, 6:30 p.m. The Auks are the top team in Division II, while A.I. is a top-five team in Division I. Both teams are seeking momentum heading into the post season.

Ursuline at Christiana, 3:30 p.m. The Raiders are 5-7-1.

St. Elizabeth at Sanford, 4 p.m.

Appoquinimink at St. Mark’s, 3;45 p.m. The Spartans need a win to get over .500 and stay alive for a playoff bid.

Tuesday

Padua at Archmere, 3:45 p.m.

Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security at St. Thomas More, 4:15 p.m.

Middletown at Ursuline, 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday

Middletown at St Elizabeth, 3:30 p.m.

Padua at St. Mark’s, 3:45 p.m.

Wilmington Christian at Archmere, 3:45 p.m.

Delmar at St. Thomas More, 4:15 p.m.
