Battle of unbeatens in field hockey among girls highlights for the week

The girls’ schedules continue with a week with some Catholic schools going head-to-head.

Field hockey

Monday

Charter (3-1-1) at Archmere (1-3-1), 3:45 p.m. The Auks are coming off a tie against Mount Pleasant, while the Force is a playoff team that is off to a good start.

St. Mark’s (1-3-1) at Caravel (2-2), 7:15 p.m. The Spartans lost to Charter over the weekend and are aiming for a return to the win column under the lights.

Tuesday

Padua (4-0) at St. Thomas More (2-0), 4:30 p.m. Both teams are off to fast starts after wins on Sunday at the Turf Bowl. The Pandas have been outplaying teams all year, and the Ravens have a nice win against St Mark’s this year.

Wednesday

St. Mark’s at Ursuline (2-3), 3:30 p.m. The Raiders are coming off a tough week, losing to the Pandas in overtime and Middletown on Sunday..

Archmere at Tatnall (1-4), 3:45 p.m.

Friday

Wilmington Christian (3-0) at St Thomas More, 4 p.m.

Saturday

St. Thomas More at Delmarva Christian (0-4), 11 a.m.

 

Volleyball

Monday

St. Elizabeth (2-2) at St. Thomas More (2-3), 6:15 p.m. The Ravens got a win in their last match, while the Vikings suffered a defeat to St Mark’s last week.

Tuesday

Padua (3-1) at Delaware Military Academy (6-0), 6 p.m. Top-ranked Pandas will have a tough road test against No. 5 DMA team playing its first ranked team of the season.

Ursuline (3-0) at Archmere (2-2), 6:15 p.m. This match has been postponed.

Thursday

Ursuline at St Mark’s (3-2), 7:30 p.m. The Spartans got back on track with a nice win against the Vikings last Thursday.

Friday

Padua at St Elizabeth, 7 p.m.

Saturday

St Thomas More at Delmarva Christian (1-5), 11 a.m.
