As spring break ends, girls sports get back into full swing of things

Spring break is over, and the action heats up this week in girls sports. There are some big top-10 matchups in each of the sports.
Softball
Monday
Ss. Peter and Paul at Salisbury Christian, 4 p.m.
Tuesday
St. Thomas More (0-5) at Glasgow (0-5), 3:45 p.m. The Ravens and Dragons square off, both looking for their first win of the season.
softballPadua (6-2) at Archmere (4-5), 3:45 p.m. The seventh-ranked Pandas have been off for 14 days. They travel to Catholic foe Archmere.
Delcastle (2-7) at St. Elizabeth (4-3), 4 p.m. The Vikings start a busy week with a home contest against the Cougars.
Wednesday
Delmarva Christian vs. Ss. Peter and Paul at Talbot Community Center, 4 p.m.
Thursday
Red Lion (7-1) at Padua, 4 p.m. at Midway Softball Complex. The Pandas host No. 2 Red Lion in a top-10 clash. The Lions can hit, but the Pandas can score also and have veteran pitcher Abby Cunningham.
St. Elizabeth at St. Mark’s (4-5), 4 p.m. The Spartans look to get back in the win column and sweep the Vikings this season after taking a 8-7 win on March 23.
Delaware Military Academy (3-3) at Archmere, 3:45 p.m.
Friday
St. Mark’s at Seaford (0-4), 4 p.m.
Ss. Peter and Paul at Greenwood Mennonite, 4 p.m.
Saturday
Archmere at Appoquinimink (5-3), 10:30 a.m. The Auks look for the road upset against the eighth-ranked Jags.
St. Elizabeth at Milford (4-3), 11 a.m.
Seaford at St. Thomas More, 11 a.m.

Tatnall (3-4) at Ursuline (6-1), 3:45 p.m. The second-ranked Raiders have been off 16 days after their only loss to Ursuline (N.Y.).
St. Mark’s (7-1) at Red Lion (2-2), 4 p.m. The third-ranked Spartans start a busy week with a road matchup with the Lions.

Tower Hill (5-3) at Archmere (6-1), 4:30 p.m. The fourth-ranked Auks look for their seventth straight win, but it won’t be easy against the ninth-ranked Hillers.

St. Elizabeth (4-3) vs. Padua at Hockessin Soccer Club, 3:30 p.m. The 10th-ranked Vikings face the top-ranked Pandas on the road to start a tough stretch for the Vikings.
Wednesday
St. Mark’s (1-6) at Archmere, 4 p.m. The Spartans look for their second straight win but a road upset of the fourth-ranked Auks won’t be easy.
Thursday
St. Andrews (1-7-1) at Ursuline (6-3), 4 p.m. The seventh-ranked Raiders try an end a two-match losing streak as they host their last home match of the year.
Padua at Caravel (7-1), 7:15 p.m. The two defending champions from last year face each other in a prime-time showdown. The Pandas are the top-ranked team in Division I, while the Buccaneers are the No. 3 team in Division II.
Friday
Archmere at Sanford (4-3-1), 4 p.m.
Middletown (7-1) at St. Mark’s, 4 p.m. The Spartans face another tough foe in the fifth-ranked Cavs.
