This is the last week of the regular season for most of the boys’ high school sports teams and that means it is crunch time for these teams to show they want to be in the playoffs.
Monday
Lacrosse
Delaware Military Academy at St Thomas More, 4 p.m. A win would guarantee a winning season for the 7-6 Ravens.
Newark at St Mark’s, 5 p.m. The Spartans look to end the regular season with a win, which would make them 9-6 against a tough schedule. The Yellow jackets are 7-6, and a win over the Spartans will look good for their resume.
Cape Henlopen at Salesianum, 5:30 p.m. The two best teams in the state meet in a possible finals preview. The teams have not lost to in-state teams; the Sals are 12-1 and Cape is 11-2. The Sals have won 12 straight and the Vikings have won 10 in a row.
Baseball
St. Georges Tech at Salesianum, 4 p.m. The Sals had a up and down week last week, beating top-ranked St. Mark’s s on Wednesday night but losing at home to Smyrna in nine innings on Saturday. Salesianum, which is at 9-5 plays four games this week, which will be key for the team’s seeding. St. Georges is 10-5.
Delmarva Christian at Archmere, 4 p.m. The 14-2 Auks want to finish strong and get one of the top seeds in the tournament. Delmarva Christian is 1-12.
St. Thomas More at Wilmington Christian, 4 p.m. The Ravens are 4-9.
Tuesday
Baseball
Salesianum at St. Elizabeth, 3:45 p.m. The 6-8 Vikings need to win out to have any chance at the tournament. The Sals won, 1-0, against the Vikings in a no-hitter for pitcher Kyle Hinton.
St. Thomas More at Dickinson, 3:45, p.m.
Lacrosse
Delmar at Archmere, 4 p.m. The Auks conclude the regular season against the Wildcats looking for their 12th win of the year.
Wednesday

Sussex Central at St. Mark’s, 4 p.m. The Spartans rebounded from their loss to Sallies last week with a win on Saturday as they continue their pursuit of the top seed. Central is 10-4.
