Boys soccer opens the week, football caps it off

This is another busy week for Catholic Schools in boys’ action this week. Lets start with this week’s soccer action.

 

Soccer

Monday

Caravel (1-0) at St. Elizabeth (3-0), 3:30 p.m. The Buccaneers have not played since Sept. 6, a 2-0 win against Archmere. The Vikings got a huge win against St.. Mark’s last Thursday to improve to 3-0.

Conrad (0-3) at St. Thomas More (1-1), 4 p.m. The Ravens are coming off a 4-2 win against Newark Charter.

Tuesday

Archmere (2-1) at Tatnall (1-2), 3:45 p.m. The Auks look for their third straight win after a opening loss.

Wednesday

St. Elizabeth at Conrad, 3:30 p.m.

Thursday

Delaware Military Academy (2-1) at St. Thomas More, 3:45 p.m.

Friday

Salesianum at Athena Drive (N.C.), 7 p.m.

Saturday

Salesianum at Green Hope (N.C.), TBA

St. Mark’s (1-2) at Fallston (Md.), 12:30 p.m. The Spartans are coming off their first win, a 4-2 decision over Milford.

Archmere at St. Thomas More, 1:30 p.m.

Polytech (1-1) at St. Elizabeth, 12 p.m.

 

Football

Friday

Delmar (0-2) at St. Elizabeth (0-2), 7 p.m. The Vikings attempt to secure the first win for coach Joe Aviola against a Wildcats team playing its first Delaware opponent.

St. Mark’s (1-1) at Sussex Central (1-1), 7:30 p.m. The Spartans pulled out an exciting win at home last week and try to continue the momentum against the talented Golden Knights.

Saturday

Archmere (1-1) at Tatnall (1-1), noon. The Auks are coming off an impressive home win against Brandywine.

Concord (1-1) at Salesianum (1-1), 7:30 p.m. The Sals suffered a tough loss to William Penn last week. They host Concord, which battled Middletown before blowing out Dover last Saturday.
