For The Dialog
With all schools back in session and teams trying to make up games before the postseasons begin next week, this week features lots of games, including a big lacrosse match on Tuesday.
Archmere at Tower Hill, 3:45 p.m. This is a marquee matchup in Delaware scholastic lacrosse as the 8-2 Auks hit the road after a tough loss on Saturday to an out-of-state powerhouse. Tower Hill is undefeated, at 9-0.
Wilmington Christian at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m. The Ravens has not played in 15 days and take a 5-3 record against the 5-5 Warriors.
St. Mark’s vs. Salesianum, Baynard Stadium, 7:15 p.m. The Sals, who are 8-1 and winners of eight straight, will look for their 42nd straight win against in-state teams and a sweep of the Spartans this year. The Spartans are 7-6 this year and would like nothing more than to knock off the Sals.
St. Georges Tech vs. Salesianum, Wilmington University, 4 p.m. The Sals have a busy week against some tough opponents as they look to improve on their 5-4 record. St. Georges is 7-4 on the season but coming off a 5-4 setback to Milford on Saturday.
St. Mark’s at Appoquinimink, 4 p.m. A.I. DuPont handed the Spartans their first loss of the season on Saturday. The Spartans will face a 5-6 Appo team that has won four straight.
Tatnall at St. Elizabeth, 3:45 p.m. The 5-7 Vikings will be looking for a win against the 6-4 Hornets. Both teams are trying to help fortify their postseason resumes.
St. Andrews at Archmere, 4 p.m. The Auks, now 8-2, are looking to rebound from a tough loss to Caesar Rodney last week. St. Andrews is 2-7.
St. Thomas More at Wilmington Christian, 4 p.m. The Ravens are 3-5 and are looking for their third straight win against a 1-7 team.
