Boys teams get some good games in prior to Christmas break

The second full week of boys basketball has some key battles before the Christmas holidays.

Tuesday

Archmere (1-1) at Conrad (3-0), 6 p.m. The Auks look to bounce back from a loss to Friends by beating a red-hot Conrad team. 

basketballHoward (2-1) at St. Elizabeth (2-1), 6:45 p.m. The Vikings got a big win at Concord last week. Now they get to play their first home game of the year. The Wildcats have won two straight since a loss to Salesianum.

Thursday

Brandywine (0-3) at Archmere, 6:15 p.m. 

Friday

Salesianum (2-0) at Malvern Prep (Pa.), (1-2) 7 p.m.

Delaware Military Academy at St. Marks (2-0), 7:15 p.m. The Spartans got two wins last week and look for their third straight against a Seahawks team that opens its season on Wednesday vs. Tatnall.

Saturday

St. Thomas More (1-0) vs. Sterling (N.J.), 6 p.m. at Trenton Catholic Academy (N.J.)

Tatnall at Salesianum, 7:30 p.m. The Sals host the Hornets on Silent Night. The Sals were off for 10 days but are now playing on back-to-back nights. The Hornets have lost to two top-10 teams and now face sixth-ranked Sallies on the road.

Sunday

St. Thomas More vs. Woodrow Wilson (D.C.), 6:15 p.m. at Trenton Catholic Academy (N.J.)
