Catholic Conference gets going this week in girls basketball

The holiday tournaments are over, but there are big games this week in girls basketball.

 

Tuesday

basketballArchmere (5-3) at Wilmington Christian (0-5), 3:45 p.m. The Auks are coming off a big win over Academy Park (Pa.).

Red Lion (3-3) at St. Thomas More (4-1), 5 p.m.

St. Elizabeth (5-0) at Ursuline (4-3), 7:30 p.m. The Raiders lost two straight in the main draw of the Diamond State Classic, while the Vikings remain undefeated heading into their toughest game of the season – on the road. This is Ursuline’s only home game in January.

Thursday

St. Thomas More at Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security (0-2), 6 p.m.

St. Mark’s (2-4) at Padua (1-5), 7:15 p.m. This is an important game for two teams that need a win. The Pandas have played better at home.

Saturday

St. Mark’s at A.I. DuPont (4-3), noon.

Mount Pleasant (3-2) at Archmere, 12:15 p.m.

Padua at St. Elizabeth, 1:45 p.m.
