For The Dialog
It’s crunch time in the high school basketball season as the playoffs approach. Here is the schedule for boys Catholic teams for the week.
Monday
St. Elizabeth (13-4) at St. Mark’s (12-4), 7:15 p.m. Both teams are on a roll; the Vikings have won five straight, while St. Mark’s is on a three-game streak. It will be interesting to see who controls the pace of this game, as St. Elizabeth likes to run, while St. Mark’s preaches ball control and patience. The teams will meet again Feb. 20.
Tuesday
St. Thomas More (6-11) at Glasgow (5-12), 5:15 p.m. The Ravens look to wrap up the season on a positive note.
Archmere (6-12) at Charter (7-8), 6:30 p.m. The hard-working Auks would love to snatch a win from a Charter team fighting for a playoff spot.
Wednesday
St. Thomas More at Salisbury (Md.) Christian, 4 p.m.
Friday
Salesianum (8-8) at St. Mark’s, 7:30 p.m. The rematch is important for both teams as St. Mark’s seeks revenge for a 36-27 loss to the Sals on Jan. 23, while Salesianum tries to bounce back from a setback at Mount Pleasant over the weekend.
