This week in girls’ action has some key volleyball and field hockey matches.
Field hockey
Tuesday
Archmere (2-4-2) at Sanford (8-1), 4 p.m. The Auks will have their hands full against a powerful Warriors team whose only loss was to Tower Hill.
St. Elizabeth (2-3-1) at St. Mark’s (3-5-1), 3:45 p.m. The Vikings are looking to get back on the winning track but it won’t be easy as the Spartans are coming off a win against Milford last week.
Hodgson (2-6) at Ursuline (5-3), 3:45 p.m. The Raiders have won three in a row as they make a push toward the post season.
Wednesday
St. Thomas More (3-4) at Delaware Military Academy (3-6), 3:45 p.m. The Ravens look to get back to .500.
Thursday
Ursuline at St. Elizabeth, 3;45 p.m.
St. Mark’s at Tatnall (2-6), 3:45 p.m.
Sussex Tech (5-2-1) at Archmere, 3:45 p.m.
Padua (7-1) at Caravel (3-5), 6 p.m. The Pandas aim to rebound after their first loss of the season. In that loss, to Charter School of Wilmington, Padua dropped a 3-2 decision during the school’s homecoming weekend. The game was tied at halftime at 1-1 after Molly Bobjak scored. Padua had chances to take the lead in the first half, but Force goalie Emma Houser kept the Pandas from doing further damage. Charter converted a penalty corner to take a 2-1 lead into the break, then scored off another penalty corner with 13:34 to go to extend the advantage to 3-1. Samantha Haines cut the lead in half with 1:30 remaining, but Charter held on for the win.
Saturday

Volleyball
Monday
Padua (6-2) at Unionville (Pa.), 5 p.m. The Pandas are coming off a great win against Tower Hill.
Archmere (3-3) at St. Elizabeth (4-4), 6:30 p.m. The Auks look to rebound after a loss at Charter, and a win over the Vikings on the road will be important come play off time. This is the annual Serve for a Cure game, with the proceeds benefiting the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center.
Tuesday
St. Mark’s (5-3) at St. Thomas More (4-5), 5 p.m.
Wednesday
Ursuline (4-3) at Merion Mercy (Pa.), 5 p.m. The Raiders are coming off a nice win at Newark Charter after a three-match losing streak.
St. Elizabeth at Padua, 6:45 p.m.
Thursday
Delaware Military Academy (8-0) at St. Mark’s, 7:30 p.m.
Friday
Padua at Newark Charter (7-3), 5:30 p.m.
