Girls teams return to action after short Easter break

The week after the Easter holiday finds some great games on the girls’ sports schedules.

 

Tuesday

Soccer

Padua at Providence Day School (N.C.), 6:30 p.m. The Pandas are 7-0 and have been impressive against in-state teams. They look to return from North Carolina with a win.

Softball

St. Elizabeth at Milford, 3 p.m. The Vikings (0-6) try for their first win against a Milford team that is 7-3 and winners of three straight.

St. Mark’s at Middletown, 4 p.m. The Spartans will attempt to end their three-game losing streak against the 3-5 Cavaliers.

 

Thursday

Softball

Padua at St. Mark’s, 3:45 p.m. The Pandas try to add another win. They are 5-2 against tough competition.

 

Friday

Lacrosse

St. Mark’s at Tower Hill, 3:45 p.m. St. Mark’s has lost three straight and will try to right the ship against a Hillers team that is 5-2.

 

Saturday

Lacrosse

Fallston School (Md.) at St. Mark’s, noon

Caesar Rodney at Archmere, 2:30 p.m. The Auks are 7-1 and are looking for a big home win against the Riders, who are 3-4 playing the tough downstate competition.

Softball

St. Mark’s at Delaware Military Academy, 11 a.m.

William Penn at St. Elizabeth, noon

Padua at Sussex Tech, 1 p.m.
