For The Dialog
This week brings some big tournaments to the boys’ and girls’ schedules. The action began Sunday for the girls at the Diamond State Classic at the St. E Center in Wilmington. St. Mark’s and Ursuline both played Sunday; the Spartans lost to Oxford, Pa., 45-37, while Ursuline snatched a 43-39 win over Jamesville Dewitt (N.Y.). The rest of the week:

Monday
Archmere (4-2) vs. West Chester Henderson (Pa.), 1:30 pm at Garnet Valley (Pa.). The Lady Auks have won two straight.
Padua (1-3) vs. Central Bucks East (Pa.), 2:15 p.m. at the St. E Center. The Pandas take on a tough out-of-state team in the Diamond State Classic.
St Marks vs. Friends (0-3), 10:45 a.m. at the St. E Center.
Damascus (Md.) at St. Elizabeth (3-0), 7:30 p.m. The Vikings host a tough team from Maryland and look to advance in the Delaware Cup.
Tuesday
Archmere vs. Academy Park (Pa.) or Garnet Valley (Pa.) at 1:30 or 6 p.m.
Ursuline vs. Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.), 4 p.m. at the St. E Center
Howard (1-3) or Caesar Rodney (4-2) at St Elizabeth, 7 or 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday

St. Thomas More was the only boys’ Catholic high school team in action on Sunday. The Ravens took a 55-46 decision over Preparatory Charter (Pa.) at Girard College. Aaron Scott had 26 points. The rest of the week:

St Elizabeth (5-0) vs. St. Raymond’s (N.Y.), noon at Slam Dunk to the Beach at Cape Henlopen High School.
St. Thomas More vs. Martin Luther King (Pa.), 4 pm at Girard College (Pa.)
Tuesday
St Elizabeth vs. Mount Pleasant (5-0), noon at Cape Henlopen. Two of the top teams in Delaware put on a show for the Slam Dunk to the Beach crowd.
Archmere vs TBA, at Garnet Valley (Pa.), 3 or 8 pm
St. Mark’s (4-0) vs. TBA at Lake Buena Vista, Fla., TBA. The undefeated Spartans travel to Disney’s Wide World of Sports for the KSA Holiday Tournament.

Salesianum (2-1) vs. St. Joe’s Prep (Pa.), noon at Widener University (Pa.) The Sals face one of the best teams from the Philadelphia Catholic league.
