The fall season is quickly coming to a close, and with a few weeks left in the regular season, key showdowns dot the schedule.

Field hockey

Monday

Delcastle (1-10) vs. St. Elizabeth (5-5), 3:45 p.m. at Hockessin Montessori School. The field hockeyVikings start a busy week at home looking for their second straight win.

Sanford (5-4-1) at Padua (9-0), 4 p.m. The fourth-ranked Pandas start a busy week that includes three home games and they would love to still be unbeaten at the end of the week.

Tuesday

Wilmington Christian (2-7) at Archmere (7-2), 3:45 p.m. The Auks look for their sixth straight win and a Diamond State Athletic Conference sweep.

St. Andrew’s (4-5-1) at St. Thomas More (2-7), 4:15 p.m. The Ravens want to get their second straight win.

Wednesday

St. Elizabeth at Hodgson (3-8), 3:45 p.m.

St. Mark’s (3-7) at Padua, 3:45 p.m. The Spartans always plays the Pandas tough and would love the road upset.

Ursuline (6-4-1) at Caravel (9-1), 7:15 p.m. The Raiders travel to the No. 6 Buccaneers looking for their third straight win.

Thursday

St. Thomas More at Indian River (8-2), 4 p.m.

Friday

Archmere at Caravel, 3:45 p.m. A win would boost the Auks’ state tournament seeding.

Concord (7-0-2) at Padua, 3:45 p.m.

Ursuline vs. St. Elizabeth, 3:45 p.m. at Serviam Field

Saturday

St. Thomas More at Sussex Central (1-8-1), 10 am

 

Volleyball

Monday

Padua (10-1) at St. Thomas More (10-0), 5:30 p.m. The 10th-ranked Ravens face a stiff volleyballtest in No. 2 Padua, but they get them in front of the Ravens’ faithful.

Red Lion (9-1) at St. Mark’s (6-4), 7:15 p.m. This is the Spartans’ third straight match against a top-10 team.

Tuesday

Archmere (11-0) at Friends (5-4), 5:30 p.m. The Auks look to stay unbeaten against a dangerous Quakers team looking for the quality win.

Conrad (6-4) at St. Elizabeth (0-11), 6:45 p.m. The Vikings look for the home upset of Conrad.

Wednesday

St. Mark’s at St. Georges Tech (6-2), 6:15 p.m.

Ursuline (8-2) at Delaware Military Academy (7-4), 7 p.m. The Raiders try for the road win against a Seahawks team that is 0-3 against Catholic teams this year.

Thursday

St. Elizabeth at Wilmington Christian (3-7), 5:45 p.m.

Friday

St. Thomas More at Milford (5-3), 4 p.m.

Archmere at Padua, 6:15 p.m. It’s No. 1 Archmere at the second-ranked Pandas for a Friday night showdown. They split last year with both matches going five sets, so expect another tight match. Get there early for a good seat and parking.

Saturday

St. Thomas More at Sussex Central (0-7), 10 a.m.

Wilmington Charter (7-2) at Ursuline, 5:30 p.m.
