The spring season is getting in gear as teams are starting to play busy schedules. Coaches, players and fans alike can only hope last week’s weather is a distant memory.

Soccer

Monday

Middletown (3-0) at Ursuline (1-0-1), 3:45 p.m. The Cavs have been good this year, scoring a ton of goals, but a trip north against the Raiders will be a good test.

Delmar (2-1) at St. Thomas More (0-0-1), 4 p.m. The Ravens look for a win in their home opener.

Tuesday

St. Elizabeth (2-2) at Archmere (1-0-1), 3:45 p.m. The second-ranked Auks tied fourth rank DMA last time out and face their rival Vikings who are coming off a win.

Sanford (1-1-1) at St. Mark’s (0-3), 3:45 p.m. The Spartans almost upset Charter in their last game and look to beat the Warriors, who tied Ursuline last week.

St. Thomas More at Delmarva Christian (2-1), 4 p.m.

Wednesday

Appoquinimink (3-0) at Padua (6-0), 3:30 p.m. The fourth rank Jaguars take on top rank Pandas at Independence School. An upset win is possible but wont be easy as the Pandas have been dominating this year.

Ursuline at A.I. duPont (0-5), 3:30 p.m.

Thursday

St. Elizabeth at Wilmington Christian (2-1), 3:45 p.m.

Red Lion (0-3) at Archmere, 3:45 p.m.

Padua at St. Andrews (1-5), 4 p.m.

Friday

St. Thomas More at Hodgson (2-2), 4 p.m.

Ursuline at St. Mark’s, 4 p.m. These two rivals battle it out in an important match.

 

Softball

Monday

Delcastle (1-3) at Archmere (2-2), 3:45 p.m. The Auks beat St.. Mark’s last week and look for two in a row.

Seaford (0-4) at St. Thomas More (0-1), 4:15 p.m. The Ravens hope some home cooking brings their first win.

Tuesday

Archmere at Charter (2-1), 3:45 p.m.

Conrad (5-0) at St. Elizabeth (1-2), 3:45 p.m. The Vikings look for two in a row, but they face the undefeated Redskins.

Padua (3-0) at St. Mark’s (3-3), 4 p.m. The fifth rank Pandas look to stay unbeaten with a road win against a rival.

Ursuline (0-2) at Appoquinimink (3-0), 4 p.m. The Raiders continue there opening season road trip after a pair of one-run losses last week.

Delaware Military Academy (0-4) at St. Thomas More (2-1), 5:15 p.m. The Ravens look for their second win in a row.

Tuesday

Padua (0-1) at St. Mark’s (1-2), 4 p.m. The Pandas look for the road win against a rival, while the Spartans look to get back on the winning track.

Polytech (4-0) at Archmere (3-1), 5 p.m. No. 5 Archmere hosts second-ranked Panthers in the Auks’ second straight top-five matchup. They lost a tough one to Caravel last week.

Thursday

Padua at Friends (2-2), 4 p.m.

Ursuline (4-0) at Polytech. The Raiders are climbing up the rankings and a win at second-ranked Polytech will help.

Friday

Smyrna (3-1) at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.

Saturday

Caesar Rodney (2-2) vs. St. Mark’s, 5 p.m. at Wesley College
