The second full week of May means the spring sports regular seasons are winding down. This week brings many critical games as teams fight for state tournament berths and seedings.
Softball
Monday
Newark Charter (10-2) at St. Mark’s (5-8), 3:45 p.m. The Spartans look for the home upset of the sixth-ranked Patriots as the Spartans have faced three straight ranked opponents.
St. Thomas More (1-7) at Christiana (4-9) 4 p.m. The Ravens look for their second win of the season.
Archmere (6-8) at Bohemia Manor (Md.) (10-2), 7 p.m. The Auks battle for their third straight win, but it won’t be easy against a quality out-of-state opponent.
Tuesday
Padua (9-4) at St. Elizabeth (5-8), 3:45 p.m. The Vikings look to end a five-game losing streak, while the Pandas aim to bounce back after a tough loss to Milford last time out.
Greenwood Mennonite at Ss. Peter and Paul, 4 p.m. at Talbot Community Center.
Wednesday
Brandywine (4-6) at Archmere, 4 p.m.
St. Thomas More at Ss. Peter and Paul, 4 p.m. at Talbot Community Center.

Appoquinimink (10-3) at Padua, 4 p.m. The 10th-ranked Pandas host the fifth-ranked Jags looking to stop Appo’s five-game winning streak. The Pandas look for momentum as the tournament approaches.

Padua (7-4) at Polytech (7-4), 4 p.m. The ninth-ranked Pandas travel to the seventh-ranked Panthers looking to end a two-game losing streak as they fight to be one of the 10 teams in the lacrosse state tournament.
Archmere (10-1) at Sussex Tech (3-8), 5:30 p.m. The third-ranked Auks look for their 11th straight win as they start a busy week.
Tuesday
St. Mark’s (13-1) at St. Andrews (7-5), 3:45 p.m. The second ranked Spartans finish the regular season with a road contest as they look for their 10th win in a row.
A.I. DuPont (3-9) at St. Thomas More (0-6), 4 p.m. The Ravens look for their first win as they start a busy week with a few make-up games.
Wednesday
St. Thomas More at Christiana (1-12), 4 p.m.

Thursday
Wilmington Charter (10-1) at Ursuline (9-2), 4 p.m. The fourth-ranked Raiders host the fifth-ranked Force in another top-five lax battle. Ursuline is coming off a tough loss to Archmere and looks to bounce back against a tough Force team.

Friday
Padua at Smyrna (9-3), 4 p.m. The Pandas look to win at 10th-ranked Smyrna and spoil the Eagles’ senior night.
Concord (5-5) at Archmere, 5 p.m.

Monday
Newark Charter (9-0-1) at Archmere (7-4-1), 3:45 p.m. The Auks look to end a four-match losing streak, but they face the second-ranked Patriots, who look to remain unbeaten on the season.
Delaware Military Academy (7-3-1) at St. Mark’s (1-7-1), 3:45 p.m. The Spartans start a busy week as they play four matches, including three against ranked teams. DMA is ranked fifth in Division II.
Padua (9-2-1) at Wilmington Charter (9-2), 3:45 p.m. The Pandas look to stay unbeaten in the state as they face the No. 4 Force, who have lost two of their last three matches. The Force play three straight Catholic teams this week.
Tuesday
Conrad (5-5-1) at St. Elizabeth (5-5), 3:30 p.m. The Vikings start a busy week with a home match against a good Red Wolves team.

Archmere at Wilmington Christian (3-9), 3:30 p.m.
Wilmington Charter at St. Mark’s, 3:45 p.m.

St. Mark’s at Appoquinimink (9-1), 4 p.m. The Spartans face the third-ranked Jags looking to upset the Division I team and finish this busy week strong.
Delaware Military Academy vs. Padua, 5:15 p.m. at Baynard stadium. It’s senior night for the Pandas as they host the fifth-ranked Seahawks in a top-five interdivsion match.
St. Elizabeth at A.I. DuPont (4-8), 5:30 p.m.
Friday
Wilmington Charter at Archmere, 5 p.m. It’s senior night for the Auks as they finish the season against the fourth-ranked Force.
Saturday
Ursuline (9-4) at Mount Pleasant (5-6-1), 11 a.m. The Raiders lost to the top ranked Indian River team last match and look to beat the Green Knights.
A.I. DuPont at St. Mark’s, 1 p.m.
St. Elizabeth at Tower Hill (9-1-1), 7 p.m. The Vikings look to upset the fourth-ranked Hillers and spoil their senior night.
