Postseason comes into clearer focus as boys sports move into May

The season is heating up for the boys as we have reached May and the postseason is around the corner.



baseballArchmere (7-5) at Newark Charter (6-6), 3:45 p.m. The Auks offense looked good in a win Saturday night. They’ll try for a season sweep of the Patriots.

St. Elizabeth (6-5) at Salesianum (7-3), 4 p.m. The first of two meetings between the Vikings and Sals starts an important week for Salesianum as they have lost three of their last four.

Delmarva Christian (3-5) at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.


Archmere at Caesar Rodney (5-6), 4:15 p.m.


St. Elizabeth at Mount Pleasant (5-6), 3:45 p.m.

St. Mark’s (11-2) at Salesianum, 4 p.m. The Spartans look for the sweep of the Sals on the road, but they are coming off a loss to Smyrna on Saturday.

Milford (7-5) at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.


Newark (6-6) at St. Elizabeth, 11 a.m.

St. Mark’s at Sussex Tech (8-4), 1 p.m. The Ravens have won six in a row, including a win at Salesianum and look to upset the Spartans at home.

Tower Hill (4-6) at Archmere, 2 p.m.

Lake Forest (9-3) at Salesianum, 2 p.m. Lake has won nine straight and would love to add a resume win.

St. Mark’s (3-6) at Tower Hill (7-2), 3:45 p.m. The Spartans are looking for their third straight win, but they face the third-ranked Hilliers who have bounced back from a loss to Archmere.


Archmere (8-3) at John Carroll (Md.), 6 p.m. The Auks look to get a road win against an out of state team.

Salesianum (10-2) at Caesar Rodney (7-4), 7 p.m. The Sals third and final in-state opponent tries to knock them out of the top spot in prime time.


St. Elizabeth at Conrad (5-5), 3:30 p.m.

Cambridge South Dorchester (Md.) at Salesianum, 5:30 p.m.

St. Mark’s at Caravel (6-2), 7:30 p.m.
