With the playoffs drawing near, many of the games on this week’s boys schedule have postseason implications.

Soccer

Tuesday

Dickinson (2-7) at St. Thomas More (3-6), 4 p.m. The Ravens look for their second straight win as they are in a stretch of six straight home games.

St. Elizabeth (6-3) at Archmere (3-7), 3:45 p.m. The Vikings are coming off a huge win against a top two Division II team in McKean while the Auks have lost five straight.

Salesianum (3-2-2) at Appoquinimink (11-0), 6 p.m. This is a rematch of last year’s final, but this year Appo is the No. 1 team. The Sals’ last game was a 1-0 overtime loss to national power St. Benedict’s.

St. Mark’s (3-5) at Caravel (8-1-1), 7:30 p.m. The Spartans face the top team in Division II and a win would be good with Sallies coming up on Thursday.

Thursday

Delaware Military Academy (8-3) at St. Elizabeth, 3:45 p.m.

Archmere at Concord (0-9), 3:30 p.m.

Cape Henlopen (10-1) at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.

St. Mark’s at Salesianum at Baynard Stadium, 8 p.m. This holy war matchup pits the Spartans, who gave last year’s nationally ranked team their toughest match of the season against the Sals, looking to get wins for tournament time.

Saturday

Newark Charter (2-8) at St. Thomas More, 11 a.m.

William Penn(6-3) at Sallies at 1 p.m.

Football

Friday

St. Mark’s (4-2) at Salesianum (4-2) at Baynard Stadium, 7:30 p.m. A packed house will see senior night for the Sals, who finish with three road games. The Sals played great last week in a win at Martin Luther King in Philadelphia, finally getting the running game going. Matt Williams returned at quarterback for the Spartans last week. He threw five touchdown passes in a loss to a New Jersey powerhouse, Montclair This game could propel the winner into the playoffs while the loser will be fighting for their playoff life as the season winds down.

Saturday

Archmere (4-2) at Conrad (5-1), 11 a.m. The Auks had a nice win over Division I Appoquinimink last week, and a victory over Conrad should help their playoff prospects.

Delaware Military Academy (4-2) at St. Elizabeth (2-4) at Baynard Stadium, 7 p.m. After a tough loss to Caravel, the Vikings get a solid DMA team. St. Elizabeth has been playing well and could steal one.
