Ann Marie White and Andrew Kacmarcik, seniors at St. Mark’s High School, are among the winners of the 2015 Harry Roberts/Senior Scholar Athlete Awards, announced today. They were selected by a committee composed of Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association board members and staff.

The winners “exemplify the outstanding job DIAA member schools are doing in providing a well-rounded educational experience for Delaware’s youth,” the DIAA said in a statement.

White placed second among girls in the state behind Kelsey Mendell of Sanford School. She will receive a $1,500 scholarship. White played field hockey, basketball and lacrosse for the Spartans. Hanah Uebele of Milford High School was third.

Kacmarcik will receive a $1,000 scholarship for placing third among the boys, behind Kevin Sheahan of Caesar Rodney High School and Chase Rapine of Sanford. Kacmarcik ran cross country, indoor track and outdoor track at St. Mark’s.
