Quarterfinals

Tuesday

volleyballNo. 2 Padua (13-3) vs. No. 10 St. Mark’s (10-7), 6 p.m., St. E Center. The Spartans and Pandas have met twice this year, with Padua taking both matches, 3-0. St. Mark’s has played well in the postseason and a win would put them at home for the semifinal round on Thursday. Padua looks to advance to the semis again; they played well in a win over Tatnall on Saturday.

No. 3 Archmere (14-2) vs. No. 11 Charter (12-5), second match at St. E Center. Archmere swept the Force in the teams’ regular-season matchup. This is a rematch of last year’s final, so the excitement level should be high.

No. 4 Friends (13-2) vs. No. 5 Ursuline (12-4), 6 p.m., St. Mark’s High School. The Quakers beat Ursuline in four sets earlier this season. Both teams were playing well heading into the postseason. Ursuline is playing for a return to the semifinals after a hiatus of a few years.

Semifinals

Thursday at St. Mark’s High School beginning at 6 p.m.

Padua-St. Mark’s winner vs. Archmere-Charter winner

Friends-Ursuline winner vs. DMA-Conrad winner

Padua rebounded from its only loss of the season with a 3-0 shutout of Charter in the regular-season finale. Padua allowed just four goals all season.

Wednesday
