This girls’ week has some good matchups as teams prepare for their respective playoff push. And if you like to see the Catholic schools play each other, the latter part of this week is for you.

Volleyball

Tuesday

Archmere (5-3) at Wilmington Friends (7-2), 5:15 p.m. The Auks have won two in a row but now face a Friends team that is having a great year against the state’s toughest schedule.

Delaware Military Academy (9-0) at St. Elizabeth (4-6), 5:30 p.m. The Vikings will have to play their best for the upset.

St. Mark’s (6-4) at A.I. DuPont (5-5), 6 p.m. The Tigers have lost three straight, while the Spartans have been playing better and almost upset second-ranked DMA last Thursday night.

Caravel (6-4) at Padua (8-3), 6:45 p.m. The Pandas rebounded after a loss to Unionville (Pa.) last Monday with a win at Newark Charter on Friday night, but the Buccaneers, behind senior Caroline Davis, will provide a stiff test.

Charter (11-0) at Ursuline (5-4), 7:15 p.m. The top-ranked Force have only lost one set all year, but the Raiders upset a powerhouse Pennsylvania team last week and played well in a lost to Concord.
