The weather is warming up this week, and so is the action as the high school fall season hits a fever pitch. The postseason is looming, and this is a good week for the teams to make a playoff push.

Soccer

Tuesday

St. Mark’s (5-2-3) at Wilmington Charter (6-2-1), 3:45 p.m. The Spartans’ tough stretch of soccermatches has them traveling to another top Division I team looking to end a three-game non-winning streak.

Red Lion (2-8) at St. Thomas More (1-7), 4 p.m. The Ravens have two home matches this week looking to finishing the season strong.

Wednesday

Glasgow (4-5-1) at Archmere (8-3), 3:45 p.m. The Auks bounced back with two nice wins last week but they have a pair of top Division I teams on the schedule next week. A couple wins this week will help.

Thursday

St. Elizabeth (3-7) at Brandywine (3-7-1), 3:30 p.m. The Vikings want to end their four-game losing streak and win some matches coming down the stretch.

DAPSS (0-10) at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.

Middletown (4-7) at St. Mark’s, 6:15 p.m.

C. Milton Wright (Md.) (5-2-1) vs Salesianum (9-1-1), 7:30 p.m. at Caravel. The Sals got by Appoquinimink and St. Mark’s last week, and this week they face three out-of-state opponents.

Saturday

William Penn (5-5) at St. Mark’s, 12:30 p.m.

Salesianum at St. Augustine Prep (N.J.) (10-2-1), 1:30 p.m.

Football

Friday

St. Elizabeth (3-3) at A.I. DuPont (2-4), 7 p.m. The Vikings ended a two-game losing streak with a big win on homecoming and now they travel to a Division I school looking to get a six-point win as they fight for the playoffs.

footballSalesianum (4-2) at Dover (2-4), 7 p.m. The Sals rebounded nicely with a shutout win of third-ranked Concord last week. They would like to stop the Senators’ speed and win their second straight.

St. Georges Tech (5-1) at St. Mark’s (4-2), 7 p.m. The Spartans look for the home upset of the third-ranked Hawks as they seek to end a two-game losing streak. St. Mark’s will try to get its offense back on track after getting shut out by Caravel.

Saturday

Archmere (2-4) at Conrad (4-2), 11 a.m. The Auks want to end a four-game losing streak and try and get back into the Division II playoff race. Conrad has won two straight and looks toward there own postseason dreams.
