CLAYMONT – Delaware Military Academy scored 28 third-quarter points to defeat Archmere, 28-14, on Nov. 5.

The Auks started fast as Pat Udovich got the ground game on track and scored on a four-yard run for the 7-0 lead. The Auks’ defense slowed down the Seahawks in the first half, and the game went into intermission at that score.

footballDMA took the second-half kickoff and went down the field on four plays, capped by a Jacob Hudson one-yard touchdown run to tie the score. Archmere turned the ball over on downs on its next possession, and a bad snap gave the Seahawks the ball at the Auks’ 28. Hudson scored again, this time from five yards, to give DMA the lead.

Corahn Alleyne helped the Seahawks cash in on another turnover, scoring from 10 yards, and Hudson added another five-yard TD run following an Auks miscue.

Hudson finished with 50 yards rushing in the Seahawks’ eighth win of the season against a single loss. DMA plays Conrad on Saturday at noon at Baynard Stadium.

Udovich finished with 80 yards rushing. Archmere also closes its season at Baynard Stadium on Saturday, meeting St .Elizabeth at 7 p.m.
