The first full week of boys sports action continues today after a busy day Tuesday.

Yesterday, St. Elizabeth defeated Conrad in soccer, 6-0, while Salesianum shut out Caravel, 3-0, in a matchup of the Division I and II top-ranked teams. Archmere took a 3-1 decision over Newark Charter, while St. Thomas More was on the short end of a 4-0 game vs. Lake Forest.

The rest of the week shapes up as follows:

Soccer

Thursday

Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.

Salesianum at St. Xavier (Ky.), 7 p.m.

St. Elizabeth at Caravel, 7:30 p.m.

Friday

Sanford at Archmere, 4 p.m.

Saturday

Salesianum at Trinity (Ky.), 6 p.m.

Football

Friday

St. Mark’s (0-1) at Lake Forest (0-1), 7:30 p.m. Both of these playoff teams are coming off tough losses; neither wants to start the season 0-2.

Salesianum (1-0) at Caesar Rodney (0-1), 7:30 p.m. The Sals were impressive in their win, but CR is not an easy place to play. The Riders lost their opener to Middletown.

Saturday

Archmere (0-1) at Brandywine (0-1), 10:30 a.m. An Auks comeback vs. Howard fell just a bit short. Archmere looks to turn things around against the Bulldogs.

Laurel (0-1) at St. Elizabeth (1-0), 7 p.m. The Vikings face a tough customer as Laurel made the Division II championship game last season.
