For The Dialog
The boys’ spring sports season wasn’t on spring break last week, with plenty of great baseball and lacrosse games. This week also includes some intriguing matchups as the month of May nears.
Baseball
Monday
Christiana (0-7) at St. Thomas More (1-3), 4 p.m. The Ravens look for their second straight win.
Key at Ss. Peter and Paul, 4 p.m. at Talbot Community Center.
Tuesday
Ss. Peter and Paul at Indian Creek, 3:30 p.m.
St. Elizabeth (5-3) vs Tatnall (3-5), 6:30 p.m. at Frawley Stadium. The Vikings are looking for their fourth win in a row and possibly a top-10 ranking after defeating fifth-ranked Newark Charter last week.
Wednesday
St. Thomas More at Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security (1-5), 3:30 p.m. at Kodiak Park.
Ss. Peter and Paul at Gerstell, 4 p.m.
Salesianum (8-3) at Lake Forest (0-8), 4 p.m. The No. 6 Sals look for their fourth win in a row as they head south to face the Spartans.
Thursday
Delaware Military Academy (7-3) at Archmere (5-4), 3:45 p.m. The Auks host their conference rival for the first of two meetings this year. The Auks have the next three at home as they look to go on a winning streak.
St. Elizabeth at Newark (4-7), 3:45 p.m.
Friday
Concordia Prep at Ss. Peter and Paul, 4 p.m. at Talbot Community Center.
St. Mark’s (7-4) at Seaford (5-4), 4:15 p.m. The seventh-ranked Spartans have lost four of their last five and try to get their offense going as they take a trip to Sussex County.
Saturday
St. Elizabeth at Milford (6-4), 11 am
Hodgson(5-3) at Archmere, noon

Lacrosse
Tuesday
Archmere (6-3) at Delaware Military Academy (6-1), 3:45 p.m. at Kirkwood Soccer Club. The Auks and Seahawks are both coming off loses to top-10 teams over the weekend. No. 6 Archmere Auks and the eighth-ranked Seahawks both look for a top 10 win in this conference battle.
St. Mark’s (2-5) at A.I. DuPont (1-6), 4:30 p.m. The Spartans are looking for their third straight win.
Thursday
St. Elizabeth (5-3) at Sanford (2-5), 3:45 p.m. The Vikings look for their fourth straight win.
Friday
Smyrna (1-6) at St. Mark’s, 4 p.m.
Archmere at Caesar Rodney (7-1), 7 p.m. The fifth-ranked Riders meet the sixth-ranked Auks in a Friday night prime-time contest that could see a lot of goals.
Saturday
Salesianum (7-2) vs. Fairfield College Prep (Conn.), 10 a.m. at Rutgers University. The Sals continue their out-of-state competition with a strong team from Connecticut as they look for their eighth win of the season against non-Delaware teams.
