The first week of May brings many key matchups on the boys scene as the regular season winds down.
Baseball
Monday
Ss. Peter and Paul at Gerstell 4 p.m. The Sabres begin a busy week on the road.
Tuesday
baseballNewark Charter (8-3) at Archmere (7-4), 3:45 p.m. The tenth-ranked Auks look for their fourth straight win and avoid the season sweep from the ninth-ranked Patriots.
Salesianum (10-3) at St. Elizabeth (6-5), 3:45 p.m. The No. 4 Sals face the Vikings. These teams always seem to play tight games
St. Thomas More (1-4) at Delmarva Christian (4-4), 4 p.m. The Ravens are going to be busy coming down the stretch as they make up a lot of games because of weather.

Appoquinimink (11-1) vs St. Elizabeth, 6 p.m. at Frawley Stadium. The Vikings face the second-ranked Jags in a key Saturday night prime-time game.

St. Elizabeth (5-4) at Wilmington Christian (2-7), 4:30 p.m. The Vikings start a busy week looking to bounce back from a loss.
