There’s so much activity going on we had to separate the girls’ games into a separate article. There are so many good games to choose from it’s can be difficult to decide which ones to attend.

Tuesday: Archmere at Wilmington Charter, 3:30 p.m. The Auks are coming off a good week with respect to the state tournament, and Charter is another test. The Force were 12-3 heading into a game Monday vs. St. Georges Tech. Katelyn Payne has been especially strong for Archmere, scoring 17 in an overtime win at St. Elizabeth and 16 at A.I. on Saturday.

Red Lion Christian at St. Thomas More, 5:30 p.m. St. Thomas More begins a five-game homestand to close out the season.

Padua at St. Mark’s, 7:15 p.m. The Pandas have won two straight after their loss last Tuesday at Ursuline. St. Mark’s has dropped six consecutive and need a win. This game concludes an eight-game road trip for Padua; the Pandas finish with three home contests.

Ursuline at St. Elizabeth, 7:15 p.m. The Raiders have won 10 in a row and have looked better as the season has progressed. The Raiders’ streak started against the Vikings with a 55-50 win at home on Jan. 6. St. Elizabeth has rebounded from its home loss to Archmere last week with two straight wins and would love to end Ursuline’s run, as well as help their tournament seeding. Parking and seats could be at a premium at this game.

Thursday: Tome (Md.) at St. Thomas More, 4:30 p.m. This is a rescheduled game from last week.

St. Mark’s at Sussex Central, 6 p.m. Central was 12-4 coming into the week and played Tuesday. The Golden Knights are looking for a win over the struggling Spartans.

Appoquinimink at Padua, 7:15 p.m. Senior night at Padua should be an entertaining contest as both teams are looking for a win for seeding purposes. The Pandas are home for the first time since Jan. 17 and sit at 9-7, while Appo is 10-7 but had a four-game losing streak heading into a game Tuesday at A.I duPont.

Saturday: St. Andrew’s at St. Thomas More, 1 p.m. St. Andrew’s started the week 9-7 and could use a few wins to solidify a tournament spot. They face St. Thomas More, which is in the middle of a five-game homestand to end the season.

Wilmington Christian at Archmere, 1:15 p.m. The Auks try to celebrate senior day with a win over Wilmington Christian, which will be playing its third game of the week. The Warriors were 9-7 as the week began.

Dover at Padua, 2:30 p.m. Padua needs a win against 2-14 Dover in the penultimate game of the regular season. The Pandas’ last game is against powerful Caravel, so two points toward their tournament chances against the Senators is essential.

St. Mark’s at Ursuline, 7 p.m. Ursuline closes out the home schedule by taking on St. Mark’s for the second time in two weeks, while St. Mark’s needs to stay closer early after being outscored, 30-2, in the first quarter the last time they met.

Of course, every game on the schedule is at the mercy of the weather. There have been a ton of postponements, leading to lots of busy stretches for teams, and more snow could wreak havoc on the state tournament. If the snow stays away, there are quality doubleheaders to be seen on Tuesday and Saturday.
