It’s the halfway point of the girls’ fall season, and the important matchups continue;.

Field hockey

Monday

Delaware Military (5-3) at St. Thomas More (1-6), 3:45 p.m.

Tuesday

St. Mark’s (1-5) at Padua (5-0), 3:45 p.m. St. Mark’s managed to upset the Pandas on the road last year.

Red Lion (3-4) at Archmere (5-1), 3:45 p.m. The Auks try to keep the winning ways going in the middle of a five-game homestand.

St. Elizabeth (1-5) at William Penn (4-2), 3:45 p.m. St. Elizabeth scored its first win of the season last time out against Newark.

Ursuline (3-2-1) at Wilmington Friends (4-1), 4 p.m. Ursuline ended a losing streak against St. Mark’s but faces a stiff road challenge.

Wednesday

St. Thomas More at Delmarva Christian (0-7), 4 p.m.

Thursday

Ursuline at Tatnall (0-5-1), 3:45 p.m.

Friday

Padua at Caravel (4-2), 3:45 p.m.

Mount Pleasant (6-0) at Archmere, 3:45 p.m.

 

Volleyball

Monday

Ursuline (5-1) at St. Elizabeth (3-4), 7:15 p.m. The Raiders kick off a tough week with a Vikings squad looking to end a three-match losing streak.

Tuesday

St. Thomas More (5-2) at Caesar Rodney (2-3), 5 p.m. The Ravens hit the road for the short trip to CR.

St. Mark’s (3-4) at Wilmington Christian (1-7), 5 p.m. St. Mark’s four losses are to the top four teams in the state. A chance to return to .500 looms.

Archmere (7-0) at Delaware Military (6-0), 5:30 p.m. No. 2 Archmere travels to the cramped gymnasium of the top-ranked Seahawks in this very anticipated matchup. These teams played twice last season, both times going to five sets. Seating will be at a premium, so get there early.

Merion Mercy (11-5-1) at Ursuline, 7 p.m.

Thursday

Padua (6-2) at Tower Hill (4-2), 5:15 p.m. The fourth-ranked Pandas cannot look past this tough Hillers squad, which took Friends to four sets.

St. Thomas More at Woodbridge (1-5), 5:30 p.m.

St. Mark’s at St. Elizabeth, 7:15 p.m.

Saturday

Archmere at Ursuline, 7:15 p.m. A rare Saturday night match features the teams currently ranked second and third in the state.
