Last full week of girls basketball includes No. 1 vs. No. 2

Partially through the final full week of the regular season, the girls’ basketball schedule includes a matchup of the state’s top two teams. There were two games on Feb. 16, both of which you can read about at www.thedialog.org.

Wednesday

Caravel (11-5) at Padua (8-8), 7:15 p.m. Senior Night at Padua won’t be easy as the Pandas basketballhost the fifth-ranked Buccaneers. Padua hit 11 three-pointers in a win over St. Andrews.

Thursday

St. Thomas More (12-2) at Glasgow (8-8), 5 p.m. St. Thomas More, ranked eighth in the state, seek to start a new winning streak after having an 11-game run end on Monday in New Jersey.

Ursuline (12-5) at Sanford (14-3), 6 p.m. The No. 1 Raiders travel to Hockessin to meet the second-ranked Warriors. Neither team has lost to an in-state foe this season. Early arrival is encouraged, as seating and parking are limited at Sanford.

A.I. DuPont (8-7) at Archmere (10-8), 6:15 p.m.

Delaware Military Academy (9-9) at St. Elizabeth (13-3), 6:45 p.m.

Wilmington Charter (9-8) at St. Mark’s (5-12), 7:15 p.m. Charter has won six of its last eight.

Friday

St. Thomas More at Sussex Tech (10-8), 6 p.m.

Saturday

Ursuline at Caravel, 12:15 p.m.

St. Mark’s at Conrad (11-6), 12:30 p.m.

St. Elizabeth at Padua, 1:45 p.m.
