It’s a fairly light week in terms of soccer matches, but one stands out. Salesianum will travel to meet St. Benedict’s Prep of New Jersey, one of the few teams higher in the national rankings than the Sals. This has turned into a special rivalry over the past few seasons. On the gridiron, Archmere hits the road, while the other three Catholic school teams settle in at home.

The Sals are the sixth-ranked team in the USA. Like Sallies, the Gray Bees play a national schedule, having already played teams from New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland. The sides drew last year at Caravel Academy.
