The girls’ regular seasons are winding down and some teams are fighting for the playoffs while others are trying to improve their tournament seedings. This is the week to do it.

Field hockey

Monday

St. Mark’s (6-5-1) at St. Elizabeth (3-6-2), 3:45 p.m. The Spartans are coming off their biggest win of the season as they won at No. 5 Padua, 3-1, on Friday and might have a chance at the postseason, while the Vikings are poised for the upset at home.

Ursuline (7-4-1) at A.I. duPont (4-6-1), 3:45 p.m. The Raiders are coming off a 4-1 win over St. Elizabeth on Saturday and should make the playoffs, but they would like to get past the Tigers before they finish with St. Mark’s and Padua.

Ss. Peter and Paul (Md.) at St. Thomas More (6-4-1), 3:30 p.m. The Ravens are fighting for the postseason as they are 3-0-1 in their last four games and need this win.

Wednesday
Padua (9-2) at Red Lion Christian (5-6), 3:45 p.m. The Pandas had a big win against Sanford and then a tough loss to St. Mark’s last week. They are in the tournament and are playing for seeding.

Delcastle (3-8) at St. Elizabeth, 3:45 p.m.

St. Thomas More at Appoquinimink (7-6), 6 p.m.

Thursday

Conrad (9-1-1) at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.

Ursuline at St. Mark’s, 3:45 p.m.

Friday

St. Elizabeth at Padua, 3:45 p.m.

Friends (7-2-1) at Archmere (2-8-3), 3:45 p.m. The Auks would love to upset the Quakers in this nonconference showdown.

Volleyball

Monday

Delaware Military Academy (11-1) at Archmere (8-3), 6:15 p.m. The fourth-ranked Auks are healthy and have won five in a row, but the second-ranked Seahawks have not lost to an in-state team this year. Both teams should be high in the seedings come tournament time.

St. Elizabeth (4-9) at Brandywine (7-7), 5 p.m. The Vikings’ season comes to the end this week and they would love to finish with two wins.

Tuesday

St. Thomas More (5-7) at Red Lion Christian (10-2), 5:30 p.m. The Ravens are coming off an upset win against Newark Charter on Saturday.

Ursuline (6-6) at A.I. duPont (6-6), 6 p.m. This match is important for both teams as they fight for the playoffs. The Raiders got a much-needed win against St. Elizabeth on Saturday but finish against Padua and St. Mark’s.

Padua (10-3) at St. Mark’s (8-4), 7:30 p.m. This is the Spartans’ final home game; an upset of third-ranked Padua could be good for their tournament resume. The Pandas won both of their matches last week and will have a top seeding when the playoffs begin.
