The girls’ spring sports season is in full swing as we hit the final week of April. The matchups take on added importance as the playoffs approach.
Soccer
Monday
Tatnall (1-6) at Archmere (6-0-1), 3:45 p.m. The Auks beat two good teams last week and the fourth-ranked team in Division II has been tough at home.
Tuesday
Padua (10-0) at St. Elizabeth (3-5-1), 3:45 p.m. The Vikings host top-ranked Padua, which is a top-20 team in the nation.
St. Thomas More (0-5-1) at Friends (2-5), 4 p.m. The Ravens travel north looking for a win against a Quakers team that has lost five of six.
Wednesday
Archmere at St. Mark’s (3-5), 4 p.m. The Spartans upset Division II third-ranked Delaware Military Academy last week and start the week playing a tough schedule.
Thursday
Ursuline (4-3-1) at St. Andrews (3-6), 4 p.m. The Raiders won two games last week and took DMA to double overtime before falling.
Padua at Caravel (5-1-1), 5:30 p.m. The defending champions from Division I and II meet. The Buccaneers have had success against the Pandas in the regular season.
Friday
St. Mark’s at Middletown (7-0-1), 3:30 p.m.
Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security (1-4) at St. Thomas More, 4 p.m.
Softball
Tuesday
Archmere (5-4) at Padua (7-0) 3:45, p.m., at Midway Softball Complex. The Auks beat undefeated Conrad last week and now look to knock the Pandas from the unbeaten ranks.
St. Mark’s (4-6) at Ursuline (3-3), 3:45 p.m., at Midway Softball Complex. The Spartans look for the season sweep against the Raiders, who have won three straight and have revenge on their minds.
St. Elizabeth (3-6) at Delcastle (2-8), 4 p.m. The Vikings look for their second straight road win.
Glasgow (1-5) at St. Thomas More (2-4), 3:45 p.m. The Ravens look for their third win of the season at the start of a busy week.

Archmere at Delaware Military Academy (2-4), 3:45 p.m.

Padua at Red Lion (6-1) 7 p.m. The No. 5 Lions host the fourth-ranked Pandas under the lights in a big primetime showdown.

Padua (3-3) at Indian River (3-3), 4:30 p.m. The Pandas won three games last week to even their record and are looking for their fourth straight win.
Tuesday
Archmere (5-1) at Tower Hill (6-2), 3:45 p.m. The fourth-ranked Hillers host No. 5 Archmere. The Auks were dominant against Caesar Rodney last time out, while the Hillers beat St. Mark’s and have won six in a row.
